12 Gauge

Twelve Gauge are J M Ward (Vocals), Ian ‘Jono’ Johnson (Guitar), Ryan Van Delyce (Guitar), Andy Waite (Bass Guitar) and Graham ‘G’ Bennett. The band formed in the summer of 2012 in the hard rock loving north west of England.

Twelve Gauge play Hard Rock, and they play it well, with mesmerising hooks, astounding melodies and catchy choruses. The band gets their inspiration from Rock heavyweights such as Metallica, Aerosmith, Alter Bridge and Soundgarden, whilst still listening and learning from their contemporaries. The sound of Twelve Gauge is heavy, melodic and infectious...paying homage to artists like Metallica, Aerosmith, and at times even sound similar to Stone Temple Pilots (reference Twelve Gauge’s single “Lose Control”). They also have written stellar classic rock anthems with an underlying heavy blues quality, similar to Bad Company.

In a world dominated by auto-tune and one finger chords, Twelve Gauge never disappoint. Whether you see them live, or listen to their studio tracks, Twelve Gauge shine through as a that draws you into their own life’s experience. They are passionate about the music they create and the fans they create for.

As a band who do things how they should be done, Twelve Gauge don’t cut corners... They work hard, and they give everything they have to all that they do.

Having recorded their first 3 track EP produced and engineered by Mike Pilat at ‘The Vaults’ in September 2012, Twelve Gauge were instantly signed to HTT Records, and are now recording their debut album, due for release in the summer of 2013.

Twelve Gauge signed with Eerie Management in the UK at the beginning of 2013, and have also secured a publishing deal with US publisher: Respectable Artists Publishing (ASCAP). They are currently working on putting together a tour to promote their debut album “All In”.
